"Good Morning" Still standing here in Shelby Township.

Love the Jacob's Falls picture, just because I'd love to be able to get up there at this time of year when the Falls really start to running. By the time we get there in May or June, they're not usually running very fast. And by August, forget it, lol!

Another one of Brenda's Great Adventures again, and love the sub picture.

Good luck to Janie's dog, Brimley, today as he undergoes surgery to get his sight back:)

After waiting almost 4 months because of our diabetic Scotty dog Brimley's high glucose readings, that are now back down to safer/normal levels, he will be under going surgery in a few hours this morning to have his blindness reversed. As one of my favorite songs from 1970 goes....Oh Happy Day, Oh Happy Day.

By DEAN SCHWARTZ SR. (Lulu) on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 08:23 am:

Janie, Brimley will be just fine, all the Pasty-Cam family will be praying. We will be heading to Oscoda for a long week-end. My wife Suzy being Irish (Cogan). We will be having a typical Irish dinner Saturday. We went to the Eastern Market and bought a 10 lb.corned beef brisket. Everyone have a super week-end & be safe

Good Morning, all, and Happy Friday! Yesterday was an interesting day, weather-wise. We had glorious weather most of the day, until mid-afternoon. The temperature was wonderful, neither too hot nor too cold. I had the windows wide open; the birds were singing, etc. And then the severe weather entered the picture. I'm thankful that no one was injured or killed by the devastating storms. My thoughts and prayers go to those who suffered serious storm damage or complete loss of their homes. It's interesting to see some of the homes had their fronts ripped off, others were just a pile of rubble, some lost their roofs, and yet others were left relatively untouched by the tornadoes.

Janie, I'm sending your and Brimley positive vibes that Brimley's surgery will be successful in restoring his sight; he will be fine. Dean Schwartz, that has to be the biggest corned beef brisket that I've ever heard of. I hope you enjoy it, along with the leftovers in sandwiches, casseroles, etc.

Janie, you and Brimley will be in thought and prayer today. The surgery should go fine...the hard part will be the eye-drops afterwards. ;) But then doggies are easier to handle where medications are concerned...unlike strong-willed cats. :>

Hardly a drop of rain yesterday in Troy, but it looked ominous.
Smooth sailing JT, and as I said before, make sure Brimley has a nice big juicy steak to look at when he comes home. :-)

Speaking of weather, we had lots of hail last evening....it was playing a tune on the metal chimney cap with the sound coming thru the fireplace. Really had my cat 'bumfuzzled'.:>
Hope none of you were affected by the tornado in Mich. Weird weather!

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 02:24 pm:

GOOD LUCK BRIMLEY!!!!!!!!!

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 03:30 pm:

Thank you for the Troy update, Alex. My oldest son lives in Troy, but he's in North Carolina this week, for new software training. So, his "new" house should be safe.

Janie, how is Brimley doing now?

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 04:51 pm:

Thank You everybody for your well wishes and comforting thoughts for Brimley! It is gratefully appreciated! Just talked to Brim's surgeon, He Can See Once Again! He's recuperating comfortably, Bob & I will bring him home in about 1 hour! After about 6 weeks of recovery, I am very positive the ATV trails in Bayfield County Wisconsin are going to see some action!!

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Friday, March 16, 2012 - 05:49 pm:

Thank you for that update, Janie, little Brimley is a real trooper!!;)
