Are we talking boys as in males or boys as in young humans? If its the first i'd go for at least 8!

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 08:04 am:

The Eagle River Lighthouse, one of my favorite Lake Superior lighthouses.

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 08:21 am:

Mine too, Janie! I absolutely love it! I have so many gorgeous pictures of that lighthouse, and every time I'm up there, I take more:)

Thinking about the men and women who lost their lives today in Pearl Harbor in 1941. Recorded the movie, Pearl Harbor, last night. What an awful day for this country, but it sure brought the country together.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 09:46 am:

Deb, I was 6 when that terrible day came about, but even though I was young, back in 'those days' when kids were 'taught' about history, geography, etc. I listened, read, and learned what it meant to be patriotic and to support our country and our service men/women. Naturally, no TV, no Playstation, no computers, just good ol' dyed in the wool love and care for our country! Life was so simple back then but so meaningful. May God bless the families who lost loved ones in that war! My son-in-law lost his Dad.

Seventy years ago today when I was a young boy
in Zeeland Mi. I didn't really understand what
happened, but what an awful day in our history.
We won the battle but what a price we paid.

Is the Eagle River Lighthouse privately owned or does a group own it?

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 02:40 pm:

Good, especially the Christmas lights, Winter, and lighthouse photos.

See there, Charlie, I told you that you'd run outta turkeys.:-) Got any colored feathers left? I'll be watching (drooling) for the FedEx truck tomorrow. YAY

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 11:20 pm:

Shirley, I know what you mean:)

By Deb S. (Usedtobeayooper) on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 - 11:21 pm:

Oh, and I meant that the Eagle Harbor lighthouse was my favorite. Sorry, Janie. You and I disagree on this one. I do love them all, though.
