What are the two things dogs have in their teeth in today's slideshow?

By Steve Haagen (Radsrh) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:00 am:

stick and a carrot
First Post
Ahh... the old proverbial stick and carrot

By Donna (Donna) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:03 am:

A stick and a Snowman's nose!
Second
We'll take it.

By mickill mouse (Ram4) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:04 am:

I agree

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:05 am:

stick and a snowman's head

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:06 am:

Good Morning. I agree it is a carrot and a stick, which is interesting, with the old expression of a carrot or a stick. That big boy is pretty sneaky, stealing the snowman's carrot nose, lol!

By Alex "UP-Goldwinger" (Alex) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 08:32 am:

That snowman looks as shocked as the young boy.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 10:07 am:

Great way to give a poor doggie a cold! :O>

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 11:12 am:

Speaking of dogs...I thought they were supposed to be "man's best friend". Just read an article on the news titled "Dog shoots hunter in b--t", maybe the dog is a secret member of PETA.:D

By Helen in the U. P.! (Lahelo) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 12:26 pm:

GRAZING THE GRASS, GREAT SHOT! Love those ZMan pictures. Wishing there was more.

By Marianne Y (Marianne) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 12:34 pm:

That dog is not the first one that shoot his best friend in the behind. There was one last year that shot his buddy in the behind from the owner's pickup truck.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 01:05 pm:

LOL! Marianne :D

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 02:29 pm:

The dog was probably pulling a payback, a lot of duck hunters use those electronic collars for training. Good puppy!

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 02:53 pm:

LOL! you too, Janie! Maybe I'd better warn my daughter and s-i-l, they use one of those collars (invisible fence) on their BIG German Shorthair.:>

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 03:04 pm:

Good ones.

By Uncle Chuck (Unclechuck) on Thursday, December 1, 2011 - 04:24 pm:

2001 is also a cool pic!

He's back: http://www.uppermichiganssource.com/news/story.aspx?id=692205

Bears are not in hibernation, yet. Temps have been above normal. Got 2 inches of snow today, just enough to mess up the roads. Shotgun season has ended and muzzle loaders and bow and arrow are in until January.

Ontonagon is having their "Home Town Christmas" this weekend. Fireworks, hayrides, craft shows.

Put up the Christmas lights outside to celebrate the weekend.

Hope you all are in the Christmas spirit like we are. :)
