If you're in the Copper Country this weekend, be sure to catch the Ghost Train at Houghton County Historical Society (Lake Linden) from 4-8pm.

Which of today's review years include pumpkins?

I'm thinking....there's one nature-made, 'un-toy' that never ceases to fascinate children....ye olde pumpkin! (^^)

We use to clean out the pumpkins and wash the seeds then put them in the oven, with some salt, and eat them. I remember my mom doing that from when we were kids.

Mickill, your post made me chuckle, remembering what my husband's grandma used to say if someone was 'infant-ticipating'...."She must've swallowed a punkin seed!" :D

Great Autumn shots. Thank you.

Mickill Mouse; We used to do the same thing when I was growing up with the pumpkin seeds. Baked them slow and long with lots of salt. Way better than store bought and a lot cheaper. Those were the days. :)

Thanks for the memories.

Shirley, why else would we buy pumpkins?? Once you carve them, you have the seeds. Yum, yum!!!
