Indeed I would have, dunerat!! I have actually been there, but many years ago. It is a place I should re-visit someday.
The Dr. and I didn't get to see the "Northern" Lights last night, but we did watch a heck of a thunderstorm roll into Calumet Waterworks just before 11pm. So in reality, we did get to see "lights" last night!! ;-)
Today we are enjoying the beautiful weather along the Lake Superior shoreline between Eagle River and Copper Harbor, currently sitting in Mariner North. We are trying to soak up all this cool weather before going back to Texas and the 100+ degree heat....

Thank you Gitchee Gumee for returning us to a UP "mild" summer. That wind is blowing, that lake is roaring and the temps are in the low 70s. This is what I call normal. Boaters beware, big waves today.
