Good Morning from this soggy mountain boy here in Tennessee,which means it is raining.Yesterday was so nice in the weather dept. Off to take Barbie to the tooth Doctor way over in Oak Ridge.

Good Morning, Everyone. The winter storm coming in tonight is going south and east of us again, so they took off our winter storm watch; we are happy about that. (Sorry to our southeast Michigan and Ohio friends.) It is interesting to often be "too far north" to get most of the snow, but we are certainaly not complaining! Even my kids, who normally love snow, are really tired of it and winter this year! I thought my youngest son loved the money he earns snow blowing for our neighbors, but he's wants spring more, now. With March finally here, Spring is closer!

Whoo, hoo on that steamy roll in the snow!! Yippee on the Lindell's place to eat.

Charlie, nice touch on the March 4 "Day in History" with the pictures of FDR and the Grand Hotel. When did you start putting specific historical pictures in the daily vinyet(sp)? The first few appeared to be just repeats of the 10-year review, so I've just heard audio on most. Guess I'll have to backtrack to see what I missed.

Sad news.
The Thunder Bay Inn in Big Bay has closed.
That has always been one of our favorite spots to have a cold beer and pizza at night.
I've been going there on and off since 1977.
It did have other times while it was closed.
I hope things can work out and this wonderful piece of history can reopen.
To Deb and Joyce who have waited on us over the years and watched my children grow into adulthood, Thank you for all of your good service. If I had the money I would buy it in a heartbeat.

The last time I was in Lake Linden Lindell's was closed. I think we'll be hearing more on the Brett Favre retirement saga up until football season I'm afraid. Same ole story just another year.

Lindell ..I spent quite a few visits in there...listening to the jukebox, burger and fries..a great chocolate malt :)

Think I mentioned this a few years ago, but there is a sister shop to this one in Manitowoc Wisconsin..built be same developer, called Beerntsen Confectionary. The first time I walked in there, I thought to myself, this is just like Lindell;s...then I did some checking. It is :)

Brett Favre...everyone down here in Packerland will be mourning for sure. Still no OFFICIAL word..nothing on the Packer website. No press conference is being planned by Favre, which I think is a bit weird. The fans deserve at least a wave or something up front. Its sure been fun, for the most part, watching this guy. A great quarterback and above all, his spirit.

Lindell's. Anybody else remember,in the late 60's, hanging out at Lindell's after a high school basketball game and having a Cherry Coke(Coca-Cola)?

Thanks, Cindy. It's a lot of fun to produce these, and we've been receiving pictures of other kids who appeared years ago on the Pasty Cam, and how they've grown up. Be watching for some in the near future.

Okay Cindy, in the late 60's I was definitely in Lindell's hanging out after basketball games and after teen center. I must know you somehow. I can think of one Cindy who was in the grade ahead of me.

And David, I can't believe you came down to Lindell's and didn't even come to visit or pick me up. SHEESH!!

Gonna miss Brett, he was one of the best QBs in history.
