A variety of photos from the archives today, all having to do with the letter B. Beauty is the subject of the first photo, snapped by Brenda Leigh in 2008. Daisies in the field or on the side of the road, just beautiful. Reminds me of the days as a young girl, pulling petals and wondering if he loves me or loves me not.
In 2010, Joe Kirkish was in Copper Harbor for the Thunder in the Harbor motorcycle ride-in. Three B subjects for this shot, Bike, Biker and Beasts. Joe had said this biker was introducing his primate passengers. I’m guessing they were gorillas, because if they were apes, they’d be on the front of the bike on the “ape hangers”.
Our last B subject comes from Rod Burdick, two years ago in 2016. That’s the Classic Canadian Laker, Saginaw, as she was arriving in Marquette Harbor getting ready to pull in at the Upper Harbor dock to pick up a load of ore. Boat by Burdick.
I wasn’t able to locate an action video of Thunder in the Harbor, but did find a neat one of a motorcycle club rounding a curve on their way to Copper Harbor ten years ago. Looks like they may have been on the Mountain Drive. Enjoy cruising!

Nice! That looked a lot like Brockway Mountain Drive, which I did many-a-time on the Wing.

I just love daisies. There's just so much beauty
in their simplicity. It's a great way to start
the day's pasty page. I need go no further, but I
will. Great pictures, as always!
