The Pasty Cam
Week of October 4 - 10, 1998
Tambellini cottage
Saturday, October 10

This is the Tambellini cottage on Lake Medora.  Paulette Tambellini was one of the first Pasty Net members when the program was introduced last month.

(what a nice place on the lake)

Friday, October 9
The annual Pasty Cam golf invitational
at Keweenaw Mountain Lodge
(The deer outnumbered the golfers!)
 Thursday, October 8

South shore of the Portage Canal, as seen over the roof of Finlandia Hall at Suomi College.

(Pasty Cam view from behind the building, students above are in front of it)

Keweenaw color
Wednesday, October 7

Sunshine has returned to the US41 corridor on the peninsula.  Extreme wind has diminished the quantity of leaves, but quality is near its peak.

(north of Mohawk about 1pm)

Tuesday, October 6

Past the wipers, over the wet hood of a pickup truck, under a gray October sky... the Keweenaw still shows its colors.

(Extremely windy overnight in the Copper Country.  Elmo's tower was blown down)

Rainy day on Cliff Drive
Old home in Calumet
Monday, October 5

An interesting old place in Calumet.  Bet they'll have a few leaves to rake later this month.

(Clouds are beginning to move in this morning, expect rain for most of the week)

Sunday, October 4

Moonrise in Eagle River
Moonrise a few hours ago over the sports field and loft cabins at Gitche Gumee.  Even in the low light you can see the streaks of color.  The teens from Dollar Bay ran around here last night.
(The PastyCam presented this building's construction back in May)
